Vision

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” (Philippians 4:13) so that I can be the best that I can be and flourish for God, for others and for myself.

At St Andrew’s CofE Primary School, we work together to teach and inspire all our children to be the best that they can be for God, for others and themselves.

We explain Philippians 4:13 to children by telling children they will face good and bad days in life, but God will help them get through each one of them. Having an attitude of thankfulness will assist them on the bad days. God will give them all the strength they need. The Word of God was in Andrew; it was in his mouth and in his heart. He had no need to resist Jesus’ call to follow him. He had no need to question or doubt what was happening on that Sea of Galilee shoreline. He was raised absorbing the Word of God. When the time came to make a life-altering decision, he knew exactly what to do.

Our Christian Values

The core values of ‘respect, friendship and perseverance’ permeate through the school. Ofsted

We have chosen three core values Respect, Friendship and Perseverance and a three further values of Compassion, Forgiveness and Thankfulness. In 2024/2025 we are focussing our Worship on the 'The Big Frieze' and have chosen to also look at the values of Trust, Service and Justice as we explore being 'Global Neighbours.'
